Bridals by J Policies
In-Stock Purchases
Payment is due in full at the time of purchase for all in-stock purchases. Layaway plans are available (see Layaway Plans).
Floor sample items are sold in 'as is' condition. The customer is responsible for any cleaning or repairs that may be necessary. Alterations are not included in the price and will incur a separate charge.
Special Orders
For special order purchases, 50% down is required to order and the remaining 50% is due upon the purchase's arrival.
Layaway plans are available for the remaining 50% balance (see Layaway Plans).
Prior to ordering, customer will be responsible for reviewing the designer, style, color and size for each item ordered. Customer acknowledges that custom measurements and/or custom length may not be exact and that dye lots may vary slightly from swatches.
Layaway Plans
Layaway payment plans are available for an additional 3% fee.
For In-Stock Purchases - Customer agrees to pay at least 25% of total purchase price, followed by consecutive monthly, automatic installments of at least 25% of total purchase price. Note: a credit card needs to be on file for all layaway/payment plans.
For Special Order Purchases - 50% down is required to order. Once the merchandise arrives the customer may set up a layaway plan for two consecutive months, each at 25% of total purchase price. Note: a credit card needs to be on file for all layaway/payment plans.
Returns & Exchanges
All sales are final and are neither returnable nor exchangeable. No Exceptions.
Bridal Appointments
We do require that you provide a credit card in order to hold your bridal gown appointment. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CHARGE FOR ATTENDING THE APPOINTMENT; however, if you do not provide us the courtesy of notifying us at least the day before your appointment for a cancellation, or simply do not show up, a $30 day of cancellation fee will be charged to your card, as we can only provide so many bridal fitting appointments per day. All credit card information is stored in our secure bridal software, and will be deleted after your appointment. We hope you understand and look forward to finding the dress that makes you say yes!!
Event Cancellations/Postponements
In the case the event merchandise is purchased for is postponed or cancelled, the customer is still be responsible for payment in full of all merchandise bought out of stock, ordered, or placed on layaway, per the terms set forth on the purchase date. At the time of the event cancellation or postponement, all previous payments are forfeited, without exception, and if the customer chooses not to pay the final balance, merchandise will be placed back in stock.
Possession of Merchandise
Balances must be paid in full before the customer takes possession of the merchandise and before any alterations can be completed in-house, or off store premises. Bridals by J will not be responsible for merchandise once it has left the store. No exceptions.
Dress Storage
Upon final payment, merchandise is to be removed from Bridals by J. Bridals by J will store merchandise for an automatic storage fee of $10/month. Note: storage fees will not be incurred for items that are being held while alterations are being completed.
Alterations
Alteration services are available in-house. All merchandise must be paid in full prior to in-house alterations to begin. Customer must review and agree to alterations to be completed, as well as the pricing, prior to the start of alterations. Payment for alterations can be made before or after alterations are completed.
